Thanks to everyone for your support on our 11:11 tour late last year. It is very warming to see that we have genuine fans in every city after not playing live for a year.

In a brief update, we would just like to say that our debut album due for release in the first half of this year is in its final stages of being mixed! We are really excited to bring this to you, and it is sounding fantastic.

We have some live shows in the works for a couple of months time, which we hope to announce shortly – but don’t despair, there will be plenty of live shows once our album is released!

Fans have eagerly awaited the return of BREAKING ORBIT from a busy and salacious year in the studio. Time is nigh as the planets finally align and the campaign commences towards release of their highly anticipated debut album.

Seven dates have been set across NSW, ACT, QLD and VIC where the band will be showcasing material solely from the forthcoming album. The lads will again team up with forever inspiring heavy progressive rockers HELM for the final three shows, a killer combination in 3 major capital cities. These shows will be Breaking Orbit’s sole performances for 2011, so be sure not to miss the chance to experience a glimpse of their progressive vision throughout November and December on the 11:11 Tour.

Since touring in the second half of 2010 following successful release of the singles My Direction and Callsign, the band have dedicated their existence to crafting a tribal and eclectic style of work that will be their debut album. With only months until its official release, the opportunity to share in this audacious musical voyage provides a window into the band’s creative mind. Through a live kaleidoscope of light and sound, Breaking Orbit’s 11:11 Tour will undoubtedly keep audiences yearning for what the forthcoming album has install.

Numbers and sequences play a big part in all things Breaking Orbit, and with the tour falling on the eleventh month of the eleventh year of this century, it also serves to raise awareness of the 11:11 time prompt phenomenon. A constant recognition of these numbers in day to day life awakens the brain’s genetic memory and opens the mind’s eye to more than just what is going on sight. Everything can be broken down to numbers and patterns, which is exactly what the band has been doing in the studio this year to generate the structured symphony that will be their debut album. The 11:11 Tour is here to open your mind’s ear in preparation for the album’s arrival….

This is the first studio session for the album since mid-2010, when the band recorded half of the album and released the singles ‘My Direction’ and ‘Callsign’.

Heading up production on the second half of the album will be the bands Guitarist, Dylan Mitrovich.
